Course Aim
This course is for managers and supervisors who require the knowledge and practical skills to thoroughly inspect and maintain records of ladders and steps.
To gain an understanding of current relevant legislation, be able to thoroughly inspect ladders and stepladders identifying safety critical faults and record equipment details and inspections as outlined in PUWER.
It is a requirement to have successfully passed the Ladder Association – Steps & Ladders User course and have a in date card prior to attending the inspection course.

Course Details
Who should attend?
Supervisors who as part of their role are responsible for buying new ladders or step ladders for a company and routinely responsible for carrying out detailed inspections at specific intervals.
Certification
Successful completion of this course will result in the issuing of a Ladder and Stepladder inspection ID card and Certificate of training which lasts 5 years.

The Ladder and Stepladder Association Inspector Course costs £120.00 per person including registration fee.
